Hello Lovely people! Let’s say “welcome” to spring together!! Yeah, It’s official. The first day of spring today, and I have got a spring home decor fever. Don’t you like to purge and clean in order to feel airy and light? This is the best time of the year to see beautiful colors all around. Well, a few days ago some of you asked a suggestion about a list of budget-friendly home decors for spring. I really like when you ask questions or give suggestions. It just adds food to my thought to produce great stuff to help you. As in this post, I put a special list together for you to decorate your house for a spring home “tour” to freshen it up!
Before further ado, let’s jump right into these high reward spring home decor ideas.
Do It Yourself Designer Planters
1- Floral Accents To Beautify Your Spring Home
Flowers are the other names of spring. Adding real or artificial spring flowers to the different parts of your home can completely change the look. You feel so fresh and motivated to do things around the house! Flowers make you feel fresh, so get ready to bring your floral arrangement to life. Yellow and lavenders are the greatest spring colors to add to your home decor, and remember, a few vases can go a long way!

2- Wreaths To Perk Up Your Doors
Nothing looks prettier than a wreath on your front door or any door, even inside the house. A wreath is like jewelry to your doors. Add a fun, fresh wreath to your front door and show your celebration of the end of winter. Yeah, spring is here!
3- Bright Curtains To Enhance The Look
Nothing could be more exhausting then experimenting with new interior design trends with changing seasons. If you are anything like me, you are going to get sick of your decor fast. However, changing the entire decor plan could cost you thousands of dollars. Here is the quick tip I have for you, and this is what I do in my own house.
Keep your overall design scheme neutral. For instance, have your furniture in a neutral color. It will give you the liberty to swap less expensive things accordingly. Go ahead and swap your curtains for a seasonal springy look, as well. Pick something with spring colors, but keep in mind that it should coordinate with your color scheme as well. For example, these yellow curtains with a touch of gray can go easily go with any neutral interior design trends. They are completely “springy”, and a great addition for a spring home decor.
4 – Pillows To Add Charm In Your Spring Home Decor
Give a great boost to your living room by swapping to seasonal throw pillows. They will bring tons of energy and a feel for spring. They simply add vibrant touches to your home, and beautifully complement your neutral decor in your home.
These adorable pillows are a total show stopper. They are neutral with a pop of color and can go with any color scheme you already have in the house.
5- Spring Dishware To Freshen Up Your Kitchen
Everything changes with the arrival of spring. “Nesting” women get busy decorating our house for a spring home “tour” while we aggressively decorate our whole house by adding new decor here and there. We should not forget about our kitchen, as the kitchen is the heart of the home.
By adding colorful dinnerware with gorgeous spring kitchen towelettes, you can completely transform your kitchen. If you can’t afford to buy a whole new dinnerware, get a few colorful platters to show off, or big bowls. It doesn’t have to be expensive. You can also steal a colorful piece of dinnerware and place it anywhere in the house. For example, I use one of our little bowls in our laundry room for cloth pins, and it’s awesome.
Replacing kitchen towels is another very inexpensive way of freshening up any season. Stock those towels and get them out according to your needs. I once bought tons of fall kitchen handmade towels and I still swap them when fall comes. This year, I stocked my spring towels as our new home is going to be very neutral and mixed with blue and a touch of yellow.

They just add some charming effects to the place. The options are limitless when it comes to these adorable signs. A farmhouse sign will look great in your porch, kitchen or entryway.
7- Porch Decors To Welcome Spring In Your Home
The front porch is the first impression people get when they come to your house. Spring is the time to show some love to your winter neglected porch. There are unlimited options when it comes to porch decor, and plenty of them are totally affordable. There are so many DIY items you can do with porch decor that you can try. Porch decors give your curb appeal a great boost and excite you to sit on your porch in the evening to enjoy your tea or coffee.
8- Mats To Add Visual Charm
You can give your front door a stylish new look by simply adding a new seasonal mat. It’s just a clever and inexpensive way to boost your curb appeal. A lot of vibrant colors are available in mats and small rugs. If you want, mix and match or layer it up to make it even prettier.

Bushra, I love your ideas and I am definitely going to incorporate some of these in to my spring decor this year. We don’t have a ton of decorations because of having moved so much with the military. I am starting with a fresh slate in this category and these ideas inspire me!
Thank you Sarah! We don’t have tons either as we moved and donated the half of the house.
Aw, Bushra, the warmth and the enthusiasm with which you are describing the arrival of spring makes me really miss my home! Your ideas are great, I can’t wait to implement some of them once I’m back in my apartment 🙂 Thanks for the tips!
Thank you Darja. Yes, it’s always fun to decorate in the spring.
I love your ideas! I just found some brighter colored curtains on clearance for $2.50 a panel!! Imagine my excitement! We are getting ready to start a huge remodel so I won’t be able to have a lot of decorations out. But I’ll definitely come back to this post for ideas when we finally get to move. 😀
Thank You, Michelle, I totally understand the excitement as I am the same way.
Great post Bushra, and great ideas! I absolutely love adding fake flowers and plants (I’m so bad at keeping real ones alive!). You’re definitely right that changing up your towels is a fast and inexpensive way to spice up your decor. We do that a lot in my house, especially with hand towels in the bathrooms. I’m so glad spring is upon us! (Even though it’s quite cold today in NY.)
Thank You, Erica. Well, I really can’t keep a real one alive for a longer amount time so fake is the way to go for me.
I don’t have a green thumb but I respect all those that have beautiful flowers inside and outside the home. Spring is here so show off all those burst full of colors!
Thank you Kim and I understand, sometimes you just can’t find time for everything in life.
For spring I really like decorating the house with plants and flowers. I changed my vases into birch bark vases so it looks so nature-y haha
Hi Kathleen, welcome to the blog! I agree, those vases do look natural!
